Notes:
My VHS copy was certainly damaged and some part could not be read with the JVC VCR (3). That's why I also used a Samsung VCR (2) to copy the tape. The Samsung gives a worse image quality, but has a better Time-base corrector. So I replaced some damaged frames on (3) by (2).
On 'Through A Long And Sleepless Night' there is a jump that comes from the tape. I couldn't manage to get it right, I always had a jump. So I used a previous copy I made of the recording with another acquisition card a few years ago (1). Unfortunalty the card couldn't manage to get something better than MPEG and I wasn't happy of the quality (artefacts). However I used some frames of the recording to replace the jump with the frames that can be read (which are plain white because of the damage). You'll still see a jump but it'll look better than what I could get with (2) or (3) recordings. I also couldn't manage to read the very first frame with both of my VCRs, so here again I added frames from the previous MPEG copy to complete the recording. Those frames had to be uncompressed and have different colors, but it's better than nothing.
I used the audio from the (1) because it has less jumps and clicks than the new recording. Hopefully I could manage at that time to get it as uncompressed PCM. Of course I managed to get the same number of frames and samples than in (1). I had some additional frames, so I dropped some part of the blank during the cut through The Certainty Of Chance.
